I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn Mello in the early stages of building Film Fashion. She was a thermostat of good taste and rebuilt Bergdorf Goodman and helped revitalize Gucci. Her stamp of approval was a big deal for me. A big lesson for me was to reach out to people I admire. Most will take 5 minutes to learn WHY you admire them and offer some kind of advice.
